Noblesville resident Chris Jensen filed paperwork Thursday with the Hamilton County Elections Office to form an exploratory committee to seek the District 2 seat of the newly redistricted Noblesville Common Council, in the May 2015 Primary Election.
“Over the past few months, many friends, neighbors and civic leaders have encouraged me to consider seeking the District 2 seat on the Noblesville Common Council. As a native and resident of Noblesville, I have always considered Noblesville a great place to live, work and raise a family,” Jensen said in a prepared media statement. The new Noblesville Common Council District 2 encompasses residents in voting precincts Noblesville 11, 30, 31, 33, 34 and 36.
“Over the next several weeks and months, I look forward to hearing from residents their thoughts for making Noblesville an even better community.”
Jensen is a 2002 graduate of Noblesville High School, a 2006 graduate of Butler University and lives in Mill Grove subdivision with his wife, Julie, and son, CJ.
